Welcome and respect students with special needs, and report teachers and schools that do not promote the inclusion of such students. Select, every year, books and educational materials for donation to institutions and libraries. Identify children out of school and lead them to learning. Report the fact to the city’s Childhood Council. Follow up children in social disadvantage, leading them to school, encouraging and monitoring their educational performance. Participate in the School Committee and follow up the school’s performance. Organize school reinforcement classes for students with learning difficulties. Alphabetize
people at home, at work, or lead them to literacy programs. |
