Use condoms, demand tested blood and do not share syringes and needles in order to avoid HIV. Spread information on Sexually Transmitted Diseases, especially AIDS, among the community.

Give orientation to those who need medical assistance due to symptoms of Sexually Transmitted Diseases–vaginal and uterine discharge, wounds and warts causing pain or not, burning or genital hemorrhage.

Go to a clinic if you notice reddish or whitish insensitive skin stains. Leprosy can be cured.

Give blood regularly at donation centers and persuade other people to do the same.

Do not let water accumulate in plants, vases, gutter pipes, tires, glasses and other containers, which can give rise to mosquitoes that may transmit dengue in the house, street or neighborhood.

Lead people with persistent fever or cough to Clinics, and instruct patients infected by tuberculosis to follow the treatment in whole, even if they do not show any longer the symptoms of the disease.

Persuade families and friends not to encourage the consumption of alcohol among children and teenagers, in order to prevent alcoholism and its consequences.

Identify, within the family and the community, those people who make an abusive use of alcohol, leading them to receive medical treatment and psychological and social help.
